- The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Brasilia, Brazil provides attestation services for judicial documents issued in Sri Lankan which are to be submitted to pertinent authorities in Brazil or other countries in South America.
- Judicial documents must be authenticated by the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Sri Lanka prior to their submission to the Embassy.
- In the event of relevant judicial documents which have not been authenticated by the Consular Affairs Division will not be considered for attestation.
- Required documents;
- Letter of request by the applicant explaining the purpose of the intended attestation
- Original of the authenticated judicial documents or the receipt of the authentication issued by the Consular Affairs Division of the Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka through the online document authentication system (e-DAS) of the Consular Affairs Division of the Foreign Ministry
- Valid passport of the applicant
- Valid permanent resident card/Visa Card of the applicant
- Valid Identification Cards or Passports of the two witnesses
- Prescribed fees for the judicial documents attestation
